Chile sends a plane with humanitarian aid to Gaza. Santiago de Chile, Jan 22 (EFE) .- The Chilean government sent to Gaza an Air Force plane with humanitarian aid, the delivery will be done in coordination with the International Red Cross. The interior minister, Patricio Rosende, indicated that the decision was adopted by the President Michelle Bachelet, after she was informed about the problems Palestinian civilian population in Gaza were facing, even after the attacks cessation and the withdraw of the troops. The president ordered the shipment of 3.5 tonnes of medical items that would be received in Jordan's capital by the ambassador of Chile and then delivered to the organizations that are distributing the aid. "Besides, on the first two weeks in February it will take off from the international airport in Santiago a special plane of the Chilean Air Force with twelve aditional tones", added Rosende.
